About the Role
We are hiring people with excellent research and writing skills for fundraising and grant writing. Team members are responsible for finding funding sources, and then justifying funds being awarded to NSF through formal applications, informal meetings, outreach, and other means. Team members are also in charge of following up with donors and managing all expectations that may be attached to awarded grants. The ability to apply previous experience in program planning and budgeting to the details written into funding applications is a plus.

Must be great at research and development.
Able to write and type at least 35 words per minute.
Must have experience in grant writing or a college degree in grant writing. (Optional)
Must be willing to sign a confidentiality clause contract. Willing to work for three months as volunteer in community events.
Must not be biased against organization and willing to go through a background check. Also, follow terms and conditions. Policies and other procedures if need be, will change at will.
Must have a understanding of state and federal law. Able to understand grant writing forms and procedures.
Must have a vehicle or proper transportation, to attend meetings in person or otherwise.
